Some Photos of Our House in Saint Alexandre
(a Mediaeval Village in the South of France)

Below: Our house on Rue des Lierres is on the left, including the section with a flat roof. The sloping roof with skylight at the far end of the terrace belongs to our French friends Xavier and Sarah..
The top two levels are bedrooms (3 + 2; the top one nearest the flat roof is our 'office')
This was before the new balcony railings (shown below)...

The photo below  shows the garage and front door, at Rue des Lierres street level.
The barbecue is ours but the house it is fastened to is our new French neighbour's

Below is our terrace and balcony (we have now fitted nice railings, shown below)

Note the flat roof - you can see everywhere from there...

This shows our house with the new balcony railings and our rose tree in flower in May

A view of part of our living room, December 2007. We lit a fire because EDF cut the electricity for maintenence, but sent the notification to Chester....

The beams look bent because of the way the four photos joined up.
And yes - Jean spins!

Below is the top bedroom nearest the front.
Some English neighbours, who had sold up to go back to England, gave us nearly all of their furniture!

This is just a bit of it!!!

Below is a 180 degree east to west panorama of 10 photos stitched together,
taken from the deck on our flat roof in July.
