Tom Travis and Friends appeared on BBC 1 Northern News on Tuesday 19th
November. It seems that The Powers That Be have given permission
for bands to play on trains. Tom (guitar), Dave Howard (mandolin) and two
friends took advantage of this and played/sang on a train to Edale, as well
as on the platform - in the snow! Yes, it was the day the blizzards struck!
Several passengers were interviewed and all made positive comments. Its
a pity the BBC didnt show them playing Footsteps in The Snow in the
snow - they didnt show any Bluegrass at all - only regular folk!
