Note: We define a 'Band' as a duo, trio, etc., that
plays and/or
sings mostly Bluegrass music and/or is identifiably a
Bluegrass outfit using standardBluegrass instrumentation.
Please read all this before applying below for a
link:
We do not want to waste our visitors' time by sending them to non-bluegrass
sites. Because we receive many requests for links which do not really help
our aims and objectives and/or are from organisations whose main interest
is not Bluegrass, and to help minimise work, NWBN has formulated the following
policy:
-
Overseas National/State Bluegrass Music Associations
or equivalent will be listed on the Links Page (a reciprocal link is reuired).
This does not include organisations that are really clubs.
-
British bands will be listed in the Band
Directory
-
Only British festivals will be listed (on the Festivals
Page) plus selected ones in mainland Europe and Eire that our members are
likely to attend.
Note: Overseas Associations already list festivals
held in their own countries.
-
Festival entries: If a link is available only very
brief details will be included; it is the reponsibility of the Festival to
keep its' own website updated.
-
Any British Bluegrass (or essentially Bluegrass
or very closely allied - e.g., the FOATMAD association) site will be listed,
on the Links Page. A reciprocal link will be required.
-
Outside the UK: Overseas clubs, sessions, gigs,
etc., will not be listed.
-
Online Magazines carrying editorial content of
potential interest to British readers will be listed. Magazines online
essentially to advertise subscriptions will not be listed (but see 9
below).
-
Commercial organisations might be listed
on the links page, but probably not
-
A reciprocal link will ALWAYS be required
All organisations listed must provide correct information and be responsible
for keeping it up-to-date. Broken links will be removed.
