Finding Time

This Cheshire-based Bluegrass band was formed in April 2000 by David Brightmore (banjo) and Lyn Crowley (bass). Together with Arthur Roberts (fiddle) they provide the vocals, John Baxter (guitar) and Mick Ricketts (mandolin) complete the 'front five'. From time to time they are supported by Anwen Roberts (fiddle) and Dave Crowley (banjo, 'sound man' for their traditional single-mike system). with the exception of guitarist John Baxter (40 next!), the band members are all in their fifties but who have managed to 'find time' to play in their first ever band and are they enjoying it !!!

In their first year of serious practise they have performed at events, folk clubs and mini-festivals in the North West UK and North Wales.

Their style is essentially traditional bluegrass, but each member is capable of leading either vocally or instrumentally, so that a diverse programme of material is presented, including songs written by David.
